Alelie Funcell

Alelie Funcell, Founder, CEO, and President brings to Renewable Energy Test Center an extensive 28 years experience in the Semiconductor Industry from engineering to senior management positions and 4 years in the Solar Energy Industry. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior VP of Quality at Solaria, Inc.

At Solaria, she successfully established and led the effort in the product design, development and manufacturing of Solaria's CMT technology. This includes installing a 5 MW pilot line in Fremont and a State-of-the-Art 25 MW automated manufacturing line in Asia within an impressive 2 year period.

Prior to Solaria, she served as Vice President of Supplier Management and Manufacturing Operations for Xilinx, Inc., a $1.6 billion dollar semiconductor company and successfully deployed a fabless manufacturing model. In her more than 10-year tenure at Xilinx, she directed engineering functions in the areas of Semiconductor Packaging R & D, Assembly and Test Manufacturing including Quality, Reliability and Failure Analysis. Prior to Xilinx, she also worked in several semiconductor companies, including Intel, IDT and Silicon Systems.

Alelie has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She is credited with numerous patents in the Semiconductor Packaging and Solar Industry. She is twice a recipient of the prestigious S.C. Valley YWCA "Tribute to Woman in the Industry" (TWIN) Award in 1994 while at IDT and in 2000 while at Xilinx.
Dado Banatao is the managing partner of Tallwood Venture Capital. With his past experiences as an entrepreneur, Dado provides Tallwood with a unique perspective in technology investments. Tallwood invests in unique and hard-to-do semiconductor technology solutions for computing, communication, and consumer platforms.

Prior to forming Tallwood, Dado was a venture partner at the Mayfield Fund. He co-founded three technology startups: S3 (SBLU), Chips & Technologies (INTC) and Mostron. He also held positions in engineering and general management at National Semiconductor, Seeq Technologies, Intersil and Commodore International. Dado pioneered the PC chip set and graphics acceleration architecture that continue to be two of the foundation technologies in every PC today. As an engineer, he is credited with developing several key semiconductor technologies and is regarded as a Silicon Valley visionary.

Dado serves as Chairman of InPhi Corporation and Quintic Corporation and is on the board of directors of Alphion Corporation, CSR, Pixim Inc., RIO (Redfern Integrated Optics), T-RAM Semiconductor and Wilocity. He also served as Chairman and led investments in SiRF Technology, acquired by CSR; (CSR); Marvell Technology Group (MRVL); Acclaim Communications, acquired by Level One (INTC); Newport Communications, acquired by Broadcom (BRCM); Cyras Systems, acquired by Ciena (CIEN); and Stream Machine, acquired by Cirrus Logic (CRUS).

Dado holds a B.S.E.E., cum laude, from the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Dr. Wolfgang Kreinberg is the Senior Vice President of TÜV SÜD Product Service in Germany and has worldwide responsibility as Chief Technical Officer and Chief Certification Officer.

He studied electro technical engineering at the University of Braunschweig, Germany, attaining a PhD for Engineering, based on scientific research at the Medical University of Hanover, creating a database and solution for the maintenance of medical devices.

Dr. Kreinberg has more than fiver years experience in research and development in hardware and software and more than 28 years in various management positions in the area of testing, certification and international compliance management.

Lecturing at the University of Hanover for over the last 17 years, Dr. Kreinberg is also a member in national and international committes such as the Association of German Electrotechnical Engineers, the German Section of the International Federation of Hospital Engineering and German Association of Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Kreinberg is the editor of several congress compendiums on biomedical and hospital engineering and has published works on testing and certification of electrical, electronics and medical products in specialist journals. In 2005, he was awarded the 1906 award of IEC.
Arthur Tan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Microelectronics Inc. (IMI), a leading regional electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider serving some of the world's leading original electronics equipment manufacturers. At the helm of IMI, he turned the Company from a Philippines-centric company to a global one. IMI now has manufacturing facilities and design & engineering centers in the Philippines, China, Singapore, and the United States.

Arthur concurrently holds the positions of Senior Managing Director of the Ayala Corporation, Chairman of the Advanced Research and Competency Development Institute (ARCDI), Vice-Chairman of the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Inc. (SEIPI) and Trustee of the Ayala Foundation.

Prior to joining IMI, Arthur spent 19 years with American Microsystems Incorporated (AMI) where he excelled in design engineering and sales. The last position he held at AMI was Managing Director of Asia-Pacific/Japan Regional Headquarters.

Arthur holds a BS ECE from the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines and has earned post graduate credits from the University of Idaho and Harvard University.
Robert Puto is part of TÜV SÜDs Photovoltaic Team and holds a doctor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Polytechnic University of Turin), Italy and a master diploma in International Business Management from CEIBS - Shanghai, China. He has 15 years experience in testing and certification of a variety of electrical products including photovoltaics. He joined TUV SUD in 2006 as Head of the Electrical Safety Department - Shanghai , providing testing & certification services for international compliance of electric/electronic equipment, achieving an internationally recognized status for Shanghai branch within the CB Scheme for a wide testing scope

He is currently Photovoltacs Manager at TUV SUD, covering the regions of Greater China and Europe . In addition, he acts as PV Senior Product Specialist within TUV SUD group, has Technical Certifier status for PV, and is authorized auditor for ISO IEC 17025 laboratory assessments.

He brings in an international mindset, experience and hands-on knowledge in PV testing. His experiences as an authorized auditor for ISO EN 17025 laboratory assessments and his in-depth knowledge of IEC/EN standardizations, processes for accreditation and in international testing/certification schemes are vital for RETC in achieving the highest sought CBTL accreditation.
Regan Arndt is part of TÜV SÜDs Photovoltaic Team and graduated from Electronics Engineering at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has over 15 years of experience in testing and certification in the areas of Photovoltaics, Information Technology Equipment, Telecommunications and Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use. He joined TÜV SÜD America in 2004 as the Senior Engineer for the Product Safety Services Division in San Diego and went on to become the Account Executive and Business Development Manager for the Southwestern United States.

Regan's experience includes positions as an evening instructor at SAIT for Product Safety Design and Regulatory Compliance for post secondary university students, Area Manager for TÜV Rheinland and a Public Speaker for the IEEE Product Safety Society. He also conducts specialized training for TÜV SÜD employees and various technical seminars to their customers. He has written several white papers and published numerous magazine articles in the areas of Product Safety Design, Factory Inspections and NRTL compliance.

Regan obtained formal training for Photovoltaic Design and testing at the Beijing Chinese Academy of Sciences Renewable Energy Department. Currently, he is the Manager and Technical Certifier for the Photovoltaics Division of TÜV SÜD America based in Fremont, California.
